MANUFACTURER OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE FABRICS AND COMPOSITES

Founded in 1968 as a manufacturer of specialty materials for the U.S. Space Program, Alpha Engineered Composites develops, manufactures and markets high-performance industrial fabrics, composites and elastomers. Alpha products are used in a wide range of critical applications and industries, including aerospace, automotive, marine, petrochemical and construction.

Our core technologies are frequently used to create new materials for energy conservation, safety and process-specific applications. Among other innovations, Alpha has contributed to revolutionary breakthroughs in flexible industrial ducting and removable insulation blankets. Many of the products, services, and support we provide today were in response to the evolving needs, specifications and requirements of our customers and the marketplace.

To help distributors and fabricators grow their elastomer business, Alpha acquired Fairprene® in 2018. Fairprene® is known across the automotive, fluid sealing, petrochemical and aerospace industries for their technical niche in performance sheet stock, coated fabrics and specialty composites.

In 2018, Alpha also announced the formation of Alpha Engineered Composites China, located in Shanghai. Our Asia office joins its sister company, Alpha Engineered Composites Europe, to provide regional sales, service and technical support to better serve our expanding customer base around the globe.
